“The Legendary Herijuana has a very interesting past that has seen many breeders step up at the plate and take a swing at doing it justice. First, lets start with the most quoted response when Herijuana is thrown in Google…. Originally bred by Woodhorse Seeds, Herijuana is a combination of the highly regarded Humboldt County Afghan Indica called Petrolia Head-stash, and an outdoor hybrid from Kentucky known only as the “Killer New Haven” strain. This combo was worked by breeders for 15 generations to create an inbred line (IBL), meaning that most of the seeds will grow into plants that are nearly identical. Herijuana produces large dense flowers on an open, stretchy plant, with aromas and flavors ranging from spicy earth and sandalwood to hashy fruit. THC levels have been measured at over 25%, and the high provides a heavy, almost numbing feeling. Not much information was found when I first started tracking down the Original lines. So my next best point of origin search option was to backtrack the line. After some questions to craft breeder circles, a link was obtained to a small geocities site calling themselves Wood-Horse Seeds. At first I laughed and thought it was a scam running off someones name. So I began to reach out to the bigger boys with what I knew already, Traced through Mota Rebel who held and sold the seeds for a long time, he then passed them on in seed form to Sannies Seeds who began to work the line. Both confirmed what I had known of the legend of Herijuana. Earliest recording of seeds being offered to the private grower was during the early online forum days with the “The Overgrow” forum. A subscriber by the username of ‘Meduser’ was selling and trading the seeds. Both also offered that Wood-Horse was indeed the real original line. Contact was made with Meduser and a few questions asked and all was laid out as I had been lead to believe. Finally Omuerta will get to touch this highly regarded and spoken about, yet rarely seen treasure of the cannabis world, and put our spin on it. Test plants came down with very low scents of lemon to orange and earth tones. Very uplifting, very mellow, appetite and sleep inducing. Good for restless legs, pain, insomnia, creative blocks, musicians and artists for inspiration.”
